Thick Pizza
This food truck makes Chicago-style deep dish pizza at 9th and Alder Street in Downtown Portland. Parking can be a nightmare in this area but in the evenings, Mike, the owner lets you park behind the food truck. This way you don’t have to pay for parking. Mike’s customers typically are located very far from his downtown location so the payout is usually worth the delivery.
Pollo Norte
The staff are extremely nice and parking is never a problem for couriers. The food takes only a few minutes to prepare so couriers usually come in, grab the food and go. Since Pollo Norte is one of the farthest north restaurants in Portland, couriers can always expect a large payout.
Kung Pow!
Parking can be a nightmare in the Northwest District but Kung Pow! has a 10-minute parking spot right outside. Couriers can expect this spot to be open when arriving to the restaurant. If it’s not, park illegally in front and it wouldn’t be a problem because Kung Pow! is one of the few Thai restaurants to always have food ready by the time couriers arrive. You can park, run in, get the food and drive off before you get a parking ticket. If the customer is on the east side of Portland, the payout is decent.
Boxer Ramen (Alberta location)
The people who run this restaurant really appreciates the Caviar couriers service and I’ve never had to wait for more than two minute. This is especially nice when you accept multiple orders. The Alberta location is in North Portland so the payout can be in the double digits if the customer lives downtown or central Portland.
Boke Bowl
This restaurant is in the crowded Pearl District but parking is usually not a problem with Boke Bowl. If you need it, there’s loading zone parking across the restaurant that is always available. This comes in handy during lunch hours when parking can be hard to find. Orders are usually ready when couriers arrive so there’s no waiting and the staff are very nice.
Delicious Donuts
During breakfast hours, this place gets a lot of orders so it’s nice that there’s plenty of parking in the front. The staff are very friendly and when something is not available, they usually inform the customer before you get there so couriers don’t have to be bearers of bad news.
Iorio Restaurant
This restaurant is on SE 10th and Hawthorne. The staff are extremely friendly. They’ll provide you with a chair to sit in their kitchen if you have to wait and they’ll insist you sit. Couriers are welcome to park in the loading zone at the back of the restaurant.
Sen Yai Noodles
Sen Yai is one of the few restaurants on Division Street that has adequate parking. The staff are really nice and typically couriers don’t have to wait too long for food to be ready. But if you do, there’s always soothing Far Eastern music you can listen to while waiting in the parking lot.
